Selling on eBay
There is probably no faster or easier way to start making money online than selling on eBay.
In literally just a few days you can easily have money in your bank account.
All it takes is to snap a few pictures of some things you want to sell and post your auction
which is very easy to do.
Of course someone has to buy what you are selling, but just about anything can be sold as long as
you are not over-priced.
What You'll need: Besides being a fast and easy way to make money online, there is very little you need
to get started. About the only equipment you need are a computer and a digital camera
(or you could have your regular photo's scanned and converted to digital images).
Other than that, about the only thing you need is a
PayPal
account as it's the preferred method of paying for eBay auctions for most people.
What to Sell Start by selling things you have around the house, things you no longer want or need.
This will be a great way for you to get started and learn the eBay selling process.
Soon you will run out of things to sell around the house and you will need to find a
source of other products that you can buy at a low enough price and mark-up enough to make of a profit.
Going to auctions and yard sales is one way to get items at a low enough price to resell on eBay.
Many people opt to go this route. It's hard work as you have to go to a lot of sales to find enough
products to sell, but if you like that sort of thing then by all means give it a try.
Another option is to buy products wholesale, either direct from the manufacturer or from a wholesale
distributor. Contact the manufacturer of the products that you would like to sell.
In some cases they will sell direct to you or they may refer you to one of their distributors.
This can be time-consuming to find suppliers as many manufacturers and distributors will not sell to you if you are
unestablished or do not place a large enough order to make it worth their time. In some cases they sell
to brick-and-mortar stores only. Once you find some companies that will sell to you however, you may be on your way
to start earning a regular stream of income.
Find out what their minimum orders are and do some research to make sure you can actually sell
the product for a decent profit. Ask about their payment terms. Ask if they will drop-ship products for you.
Ask if they can provide product images for you to use in your auction listings.
One suggestion I have is to focus on a niche for the type of products you wish to sell. Choose products
that are related to that niche and that are not already over-saturated for sale.
Competition is fine and that shows you people are making money
selling those types of items, but watch out for too much competition.
Drop-Shipping: Finding companies that will drop-ship their products for you is the best way to get started selling new items.
You'll pay more for your items since you are not buying in quantity, but you won't have the worry of being stuck with inventory
you can't sell. You can keep your focus on making sales instead of ordering products and storing products in your basement or garage.
A few words of warning: There are many places that claim to be drop-ship suppliers that
are actually middlemen adding to the cost of your product. These are people who buy from the real
drop-shippers and mark-up the price leaving very little room for another mark-up by you.
My word of advice is to save yourself time and headaches and sign-up for OneSource

Worldwide brands is the only company certified by eBay to locate drop-ship suppliers and they have numerous free tools and information to help you as an eBay seller.
