I just came across this free toolbar that is going to help you tremendously in your keyword research.  It’s called CashKeywords.

It is a tollbar that easily installs into your Firefox browser. There a short video explaining what it does and how to use it. Really it’s something you should check out if you do keyword research.

Recently I have decided to quit using my main email to receive newsletters, ezines, etc. So every time I get one, I click on the little link that should be at the end of every email where you can unsubscribe and hopefully edit your membership.

See, I am finding it much better to use Gmail for receiving all my emailed newsletters and I want to change all my newsletters, IM correspondences, etc to go to my Gmail account.

Unfortunately not everyone has a link that allows me to simply change my email address.

Aweber makes this very simple and large number of marketers do use Aweber. but those marketers that are using a different program may be out of luck.  Some only offer an unsubscribe. If that’s the case then I simply unsubscribe and I am lost to that marketer probably for ever. Sure I could find their homepage and re-subscribe, but that really is so much of a bother.

Some autoresponder services such as Getresponse must have a setting as some people using Getresponse have simple to edit subscriptions and others do not.

Have you checked your autoresponder to see how people can simply change their emails.  People change their emails for all sorts of reason. Make it easy for them to do so.

Wishing you the best of success!

Here is a great audio interview of Frank Kern interviewing Eben Pagan on his current pre-launch of a new product that he is promoting.

I’m not promoting this as I have not reviewed the product and this is not an affiliate link, but the audio is definately something you should hear.  It has some great take-away ideas that you should implement. I know I will.

Sign up for any type of information freebie, online membership, or make a purchase from nearly any Internet Marketer and chances are you will be presented with a one time offer (OTO).

The problem with these OTO’s is if it is for a product that I am interested in, I am forced to decide to purchase it before I have been given the time to evaluate my initial purchase, membership, freebie, etc.

If the item I originally signed up for is great, then that OTO should be equally great or better. However if it’s a piss poor product, then I would most likely pass on the item.

Unfortunately as a consumer you are not given the luxury of evaluating your initial product before deciding on the item in question. As it stands I rarely buy any OTO for that very reason.

Of course it’s obvious why Internet Marketers use OTO’s – they work, just not on me. As you create your next product keep this in mind. I am sure if I feel that way many others do too.

As I create my next product I need to decide whether or not I will be using a one time offer – something I have never done in the past. Perhaps I can come up with a new twist on the OTO such as a 24 hour evaluation deadline.

Wishing you the best of successes,

Happy Easter to you and your family,

I received Butterfly Marketing 2.0 in the mail yesterday and installed it last night.  Despite what I heard, it was relatively easy to install with the video tutorials that I received through Bob The Teacher.

For those that are not familiar with this highly hyped software, what it does is make a membership site for you. It’s a basic script that has some nice features such as handling one time offers and well as different membership levels.

You can look forward to a members only section of this website in the future with great tutorials on building your online business empire.

The software came bundled with a ton of CD’s – Recordings of Mastermind calls from such Internet experts like Rich Schefren, Mark Joyner, Michel Fortin, Gary Ambrose, and others.

Mike did an outstanding job with this launch and has made it extremely easy to cancel the membership if and when I like.  Some marketers hide the contact info or phone number for those who wish to cancel, but not Mike.  The first sheet of paper you see when you open the package has all this information clearly shown.

I have a lot of work to do now that the script is installed.  All the graphics, sales letter, offers and content need to be completed. I do not have a deadline for this to be completed as of yet, so please sign up for my newsletter and I’ll let you know when the membership is live and I’ll throw in some cool bonuses too.

Wising you tons of success!

My readers know that I am not fond of huge product launches, but there is no denying that they work.

This time I succumbed to the latest launch of Mike Filsaime’s Butterfly Marketing 2.0

In a nutshell, the main part of Butterfly Marketing 2.0 is a script that allows you to maintain a membership site and offer upsells when someone joins.  It’s a highly successful script that many have used to build their businesses and I am sure you have probably seen it in action if you have ever joined a membership site (even free ones). These are tried and true Internet marketers that have shown proof to the benefits this script.

The cost was $30. Well actually it was free with $30 shipping. Of course there is always more to it than that.  There is a newsletter you automatically get signed up for which is I think about $40 per month which can be cancelled at any time.

True to most major product launches, the site crashed and would not take orders.  This delayed ordering for about 5 hours. But Mike Filsaime did something I thing is extremely honorable.  There were supposed to be only 5000 of these free courses available – first come first serve.  With the technical difficulties, Mike promised everyone who wanted to order (I think within the next day or so) would be able to get a copy even if that meant he needed to get more made.

So in about 10 days I should get my package in the mail.  I mostly ordered out of curiosity and to learn from a master like Mike Filsaime. I am not too interested in a membership site as I had one in the past and spent way too much time on it. However, if utilized correctly it would take very little time to do.  Russell Brunsen has a method he teaches on hoe to do this. Between Russell’s course and Butterfly marketing I think you could have nice niche membership sites building you a nice list and income.

I’ve had just an awful week.  I had to put my 14 year old puppy down on Tuesday and that alone is bad enough.  then me and my son were terribly sick with the flu for the rest of the week. My Internet was down for 24 hours and finally by email was down all weekend. – YIKES!

But I press on. and no more doom or gloom.

The Latest Product Launches:

Right on the heels of Frank Kern’s latest launch were 2 equally promoted launches.

The first was PPC classroom and the other was Ewen Chia’s book.  This shows you without a doubt that this style of product launch works. They both sound like decent products, and the bonuses for Ewen’s book that people were giving away made it seem like a no brainer. Unfortunately my to-do list is so long rihght now I did not really have time for either at this point.

Another launch that made some waves this past week was something that I think actually will benefit a lot of people. It’s a membership called EasilyAnswered.com and it’s unlike anything that I have ever seen.

For $97 month, you basically get access to a slew of top notch Internet marketers. This is a question and answers type of membership.  You ask your questions and the experts will respond – simple enough.

I wish I could remember all the names, but people I HIGHLY REGARD like Willie Crawford, Kevin Riley, Ross Goldberg are all on board.  Really if you need a regular amount of help then join. I don’t have a link as i am not promoting it, but seriously if you need it you won’t do better.

I made my first sale from the blog I created for Ed Dales 30 day challenge so that was cool.  I never finished the challenge as i really chose a bad topic for where the course went.  If I had known where the daily lessons were leading to when i started i would have chosen something else. But I did choose an awesome topic that is now listed highly in the search engines based on what I learned. Now I just need to monitize it better.

I was able to get 3 Squidoo lenses made this week, 2 in a new niche I am sort of excited about. Hopefully those start to bring in some traffic soon.

Wow, the frenzy over Frank Kern’s latest release of Mass Control was insane.

I received a ton of emails form a lot of marketers trying to get a commission on that product.  Just like traffic or even a television, once the noise gets too loud I just have to either turn it off, block it out or leave.

Don’t get me wrong, because I think Frank Kern is a genius at marketing his products. The guy is definitely cool.

So I didn’t buy, but they did get me last time around. It’s a pretty decent product. If you are already familiar with Dan Kennedy and Gary Halbert you probably don’t need Mass Control anyway.  But then if you are using Dan Kennedy or Gary Halbert’s stuff, then you have enough cash to buy Mass Control anyway.

So where am I going with this?

Well first if you are doing a product launch using top affiliates to promote your offer know that you are going to turn a bunch of people off – but that’s a small tradeoff for what you will make.

Second, I see Frank did not offer this course for only the cost of shipping with a monthly membership like last time. This time it was all up front baby. That makes me wonder if he got too many cancellations from the last launch.

There’s a lot to learn from watching a launch from a guru and then subsequent launches, you can see where they have been and where they are going.  Use that to your advantage, but protect your hearing, it gets pretty loud at times.

To your success!

A few months back I made a post on the best Internet marketing books on all time. This was based on a survey over at the Warriors forum. I also listed what I thought were the best books.

One of the books suggested over and over was The 4 Hour Work Week by Timothy Ferriss.  I have heard of the book, but never read it. So based on the suggestion, I headed over to Amazon and bought myself a copy.

Luckily this book had an audio version on CD. I like listening to such things in my car so I know this was the version for me.

The audio book came in a set of 7 CD’s. In no time I loaded them and started to listen to them.  I have now listened to them two times and I must say I am impressed, however I also have my criticisms.

My main criticism is that the book goes all over the map and while it does cover Internet marketing, that’s not really the main topic. It’s really about obtaining a life style change. A complete lifestyle change.

Timothy Ferriss is quite the remarkable person having spent time in many countries enjoying a lifestyle many can hardly even dream of.

The book covers how Timothy was able to create his business and outsource nearly all the tasks.  The section on outsourcing alone is a god enough reason to go buy the book. He gives good advice for choosing what types of things to sell and how to negotiate with your vendors. Highly recommended are information products, which I am sure comes as no surprise.

A good portion of the book is about how to start travelling and see the world. Places to go, how to spend your days and how to handle living like the “New Rich” as he coins the term.

Although I don’t really think of this as one of the best Internet marketing books of all times, it has made an immense impact on meand how I now look at things. To say I high;y recommend this book is an understatement.

The resources on all sorts of topics from outsourcing and tools to make your business and life easier to travel-related resources alone make this a must-have.

Head over to Amazon and get The 4-Hour Workweek now.
